But really, is it what it is?  Does it have to be that way?  Do I have to accept that my kids just wont call as cerfew approaches?  That the snow white cat will snooze on my black sweater whenever I don’t put it away (the sweater, not the cat)?  That I’ll get bad service from my rental car company?  C’est la vie?  Really?

I’m over it.  As a died-in-the-wool passionate marketer, all I do all day is try to figure out how to improve businesses and brands.  So how about improving all of the other facets of life?  How about taking it personally?

Can you believe in both ‘fate’ and ‘will’ in different parts of your life?  For one, I’m tired of it.  I like this Ann Frank quote: “How wonderful it is that nobody has to wait a single moment before starting to improve the world”

I work with a guy who has been through most of the levels of hell and back.  You know what his life philosophy is?  To try to leave people he meets a little happier.  That’s it.  That’s big.

Maybe it really is what it is, but for sure it can be better!
